Kara Healthcare is seeking a caring, dedicated, and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at our care home in Stocksfield, NE43 7LY.

About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily needs while providing leadership and guidance to the care team on shift. You will help ensure the highest standards of care, dignity, and respect are delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
- Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and wellbeing.
- Lead and support Care Assistants during shifts.
- Administer medication safely and accurately where trained to do so.
- Complete and maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns promptly.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect.
- Liaise effectively with residents, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or experienced Care Assistant.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable).
- Medication administration experience preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care.
