Kara Healthcare is looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at our care home in Wallsend, NE28 7HU.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. You will provide person-centred care, promote independence, and help maintain a calm and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support to residents.
- Assisting with mobility and daily living activities.
- Supporting residents with their individual needs and preferences.
- Carrying out regular welfare checks throughout the night.
- Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
- Promoting dignity, respect, choice, and independence.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
- Responding promptly to resident requests and emergencies.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable individual.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A genuine passion for supporting older people.
