We match our Live In Care Professional to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in East Northants as a Live In Care Professional. As a Live In Care Professional, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour (increasing to £13.80 from 1st April) - you will work 10 hour day with a 2 hour break, but these hours need to work around the client.
The client's lives is a beautiful rural village, based in Harrold, Bedfordshire - he was dianogsed with Parkinson's, 7½ years ago.
He is not great on his feet and uses a wheelchair when outside. He is looking for a live in carer to help assist his wife with the following:- Medication, continence support, meal support, gentle exercise, night support (if needed), companionship support, home help tasks, hydration support.
We are looking for someone who can cook homemade traditional meals with assistance from his wife.
We do not pay travel to this package but we are happy to pick you up from the train station or bus station.
Additional Information
As a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support. This is a one week on an one week off pattern.
