Job description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable male Live-In Carer to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and safe moving/handling
- Support with medication administration as required
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Carry out light household duties (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients to appointments or social activities
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the care team
Requirements:
- Previous care experience preferred (training can be provided)
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to live in the client's home on a rota basis
- Right to work in the UK
