Support Worker (Female) - Henley, Oxfordshire

Are you a caring, dependable person who gets genuine satisfaction from making a difference in someone's day? We're looking for warm-hearted women to join our team of home carers supporting elderly clients in and around Henley.
About the role
You'll be visiting elderly clients in their own homes, helping them to live independently and with dignity. This might include personal care, help with meals, light domestic tasks, medication prompts, and, just as importantly, friendly conversation and companionship.
We specify female applicants for this role as our clients have requested female carers for personal care. This is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
What you'll be doing
- Providing personal care with sensitivity and respect
- Supporting clients with daily routines, meals, and mobility
- Being a familiar, trusted presence in their lives
- Keeping simple records and communicating with your team
What we're looking for
- A kind, patient, and reliable nature experience is helpful but not essential; we train you
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid)
- Flexibility to work a mix of morning, evening, and weekend shifts
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care
