Job description
We are an independent chairty that has been providing residential and supported living care for adults with a learning disability for over 50 years.

We are seeking compasionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our Support Living team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and possess the necessary skils to manage diverse neeeds.
This is a sleep in role with the requirement to be awake from 8pm to 10pm and 7am to 8am. There is an expectation to support during the night if required (additional payment depending on the amount of time supporting)
The role requires the candidate to socialise with tenants during the early part of the evening, support with any food preparation and support during the night in the event of an emergency.
You will use didgital care planning and will need to support/administer medication. Promopting/undertaking personal hygiene is a requirement.
Previous experience in a supported living setting is desirable.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants should note that intial wiorking requirements will be for days to accomodate training, competencies, shadowing and observations. Night working will commence when deemed competent to lone work.
A commitment of 2 shifts per week is required.
An enhanced DBS with barred list check is required.
