Blaenos House Nursing Home
Within walking distance of the pretty historic market town of Llandovery, and on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Blaenos House cares for 38 residents living with dementia and/or requiring nursing care. In early 2025, we have been recognised as one of the Top 20 Care Homes in Wales by Carehome.co.uk. Our home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected.We are looking for a kind and compassionate individual who wants to enhance the lives of others and offer quality care and support and to join our already-established care team. Previous experience would be of an advantage.
Responsibilities will include:
- Personal care
- Assistance with meals and fluids
- Transferring residents as per care plan
- Accurate record keeping
- Offering comfort, stimulation and support, whilst maintaining residents' privacy and dignity
Desirable Skills
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
