Job description

We are an independent Charity that has been providing residential and supported living care for adults with a learning disability for over 50 years.

We are seeking kind, reliable, and empathic female carers to provide high-quality personal care and support to our service users. This role involves close personal care, and due to the nature of the support required, there is a genuine occuaptional requirement for female staff under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for service users by assisting them in daily activites, promoting indepenence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This postion requires a patient and empathic indiviual who is committed to making a postive impact on the lives of those they support.

Duties:

Provision of personal care, supporting mobility requirements, meal preparation, medication administration, supporting activities and maintaing digital records.

Full flexibility is required - days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Applicants should note we operate a 12 hour shift pattern and require a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week.

Successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS and barred list check.
