Kara Healthcare is looking for caring, compassionate, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at our care home in Gateshead, NE10 9PU.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their day-to-day needs, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. You will be part of a supportive team committed to providing outstanding care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support to residents.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, and mobility.
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and respect.
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Contributing to a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable individual.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A genuine passion for supporting older people.
