Job description
We are an independent Charity that has been providing residential and supported living care for adults with a learning disability for over 50 years.

We are recruiting to the role of Assistant Team Leader for an eight bedded bungalow to assist in supporting up to eight residents and a staffing team of up to sixteen.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the Team Leader to ensure cohesive team working whilst promoting person-centred care.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the direction, guidance, mentorship of the team by leading by example
- Updating Care Plan including risk assessments, protocols etc
- Medication administration
- Rota managemnent
- Some hands on care
- Ensuring care provision reflects the Acorn ethos
In return, the successful candidate will have the flexibility to work across the week in order to effectively support the management of the team working a variety of shift patterns

We require applicants to have completed Level 2 in Health & Social Care and either be currently working on their Level 3 or have successfully completed this.
