We are looking for confident, compassionate and resilient Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at Cygnet Nield House in Crewe.
You'll be working 42 hours per week across a mixed 12-hour shift pattern, helping to make a positive difference to the lives of the women in our care.

About Cygnet Nield House
Cygnet Nield House is a specialist mental health hospital for women in Crewe, Cheshire. The service supports women aged 18 and over and is split into two distinct wards, each offering specialist mental health care.
Clarion Ward
Clarion Ward is a 14-bed complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder, with or without co-morbid disordered eating.
Compton Ward
Compton Ward is a 15-bed acute service for women. The ward provides a safe and stabilising environment for women experiencing an acute episode of mental illness who require an emergency admission.
At Nield House, you'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team helping women feel safe, respected and empowered as they work towards recovery, independence and improved wellbeing.

Your Day-to-DayAs a Support Worker at Cygnet Nield House, you'll provide practical, emoti onal and therapeutic support to women with mental health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering enhanced care using a flexible, person-centred approach
- Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
- Building positive, professional and trusting relationships with service users
- Learning about each individual's specific needs and supporting them in the most appropriate way
- Assisting with medical and welfare needs
- Reporting medical and welfare concerns as required
- Supporting safeguarding practices and maintaining professional boundaries
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environment
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive daily routines
