  • Location: Broughton Lodge, Macclesfield, SK11 0JG

  • Salary: £32,883 - £40,028 per year

  • Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week

We are looking for a dedicated and caring Speech and Language Therapist to join us at our specialist residential care service, Broughton Lodge.

This post is suitable for a newly qualified SLT or a student due to receive their registration in summer 2026.

Location
Broughton Lodge is a 20-bed specialist residential service for autistic adults and a learning disability who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist with:

  • Placement experience OR an interest in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders / Learning Disabilities.

  • Interest in person-centred support and planning

  • Understanding of the importance of being a team player with a genuine desire to help others

  • Good organisational skills

  • Willingness to work flexibly in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to take direction from senior colleagues

  • Enthusiasm, motivation and passion

  • Support with your NQP competencies, including 1:1 weekly meetings, fortnightly access to an NQP Forum and monthly Clinical Supervision from an experienced SLT.
