Fostering Recruitment Supervisor
Location: Hybrid/ Home based with some travel for meetings
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (flexibility required)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)About the Role
We are looking for a Fostering Recruitment Supervisor to lead and support our Recruitment Assistants and play a pivotal role in guiding prospective foster carers through the early stages of their journey.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will oversee enquiry management, ensure high standards of customer experience, and maximise the conversion of enquiries into initial visits. Working closely with the Head of Recruitment, Assessment Managers, and Marketing colleagues, you will help ensure our fostering recruitment process is effective, responsive, and values‑led.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to Recruitment Assistants
Monitor workloads, performance, and service standards, offering feedback and coaching where needed
Ensure fostering enquiries are managed promptly and within agreed timescales
Oversee enquiry progression from first contact through to screening and initial visits
Monitor booking systems, callbacks, and outstanding actions
Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure consistent use of systems
Work closely with Marketing to track and respond to lead enquiries
Contribute to recruitment KPI monitoring and reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experience
Carry a small recruitment administration caseload, including checks and references
Undertake initial visits with prospective foster carers when required
Provide cover for staff absence and annual leave as neededSafeguarding
Safeguarding children is central to everything we do. The successful candidate will be required to follow safeguarding procedures at all times and complete mandatory safeguarding training as part of their induction.

Essential skills and experience:
Experience supervising or supporting staff, providing clear direction and feedback
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
High standard of customer service and professionalism
Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases/CRM systems
Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Flexible approach to working hours to meet service needsDesirable:
Experience in fostering, adoption, or children's social care
Knowledge of fostering legislation or National Minimum Standards
Experience of undertaking or supporting initial visits or screening
Experience monitoring enquiry conversion rates or service performance
