Job description
Position: Primary Teacher
Location: SEMH Red Rose school- Preston, Lancashire
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time
Salary Details: Up to £42,000 per annum DOE
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to students with SEMH needs who are unable to access mainstream education. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire young people through personalised, accessible teaching in a supportive environment.

Cambian Red Rose School is an independent, DfE-registered, co-educational day school, providing specialist education for up to 35 students aged 8-18 years.
Cambian Red Rose School provides high-quality, personalised education for students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Our success is based on an approach which combines high expectations with sensitivity to the needs of individual students.
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification and experience.
- A thorough understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners, and the ability to apply this understanding to practical, exciting lessons.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Resilience for the days when it gets challenging.
- Passion for supporting young people to succeed in their own way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, innovative and inspirational lessons.
- Provide kind, constructive feedback to help students understand their learning.
- Foster creativity, curiosity, resilience and wonder in the students through interactions and lessons.
