Team Leader required to join our Team at Encompass Care

This pivotal role encompasses the leadership and direct management of our dedicated teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support tailored to meet the individual needs and aspirations of the people we support.

  • Pay: £30,347.00 per annum (pro rata for part time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of senior support workers and support workers, guiding them to deliver care that exceeds the expectations of our service users and aligns with our mission.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a safe, compassionate environment.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of personalised care plans, fostering an environment of co-production, high-quality service, and improved outcomes for service users.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, safeguarding protocols, and governance systems, ensuring a safe and supportive setting for service users and staff.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of service standards, embracing innovation and best practices in care provision.
  • Collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, local authorities, and families, to coordinate comprehensive support services.
  • Champion Encompass Care's values and vision contribute to the organisation's growth as a preferred provider and employer of choice.
  • Ensure confidentiality and safeguarding protocols are followed.

About You:

  • Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to lead teams with a passion for developing others and enhancing service delivery.
  • Professional Expertise: Solid background in social care, preferably within the learning disabilities and/or mental health sectors. Willingness to work towards QCF level 5 or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Operational Acumen: Experience in managing budgets, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to oversee operational effectiveness, implement service improvements, and navigate change management.
  • Communicator: strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: flexible approach to work and ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic setting.
