We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Nield House
Cygnet Nield House in Crewe is our 29-bed mental health hospital for women.
This role will be working full time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00)Cygnet Nield House is split into two distinct wards, each offering specialist mental health services:
- Clarion Ward - a 14 bed complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder, with or without co-morbid disordered eating.
- Compton Ward - a 15 bed acute service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
Your Day-to-Day…
We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with;
• Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
• Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
• Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
• Administration, audit, research and service development
We're looking for someone who is…
• Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
• BPS (Brit ish Psychological Society) Accredited
• Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
• Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
